marcie - i would be lying if i said i have never snuck on here to admire your beautiful style. seriously, you have great taste. it will be fun to see what you actually create. it will be so cool and beautiful and cozy for sure. i hope you are well. i hope pregnancy has been good. when you think of it, be sure to tell those awesome in-laws of yours a hello from me. i think of all of you often. take care! happy baby to you!
Just one piece of advice (Which I'm sure you are tired of getting). As much as I LOVE the look of that rocker, if you are going to nurse, or do anything besides rock in that rocker I would think about getting a super duper comfy rocker that either has a ottoman or pulls out.
After trying out literally every dang rocker/glider out there and not liking how any of them felt and looked I went and got a slim-sleek-looking lazy boy. BEST. DECISION. EVER. It is totally like sitting in a sturdy, yet comfortable cloud, and it rocks, and best of all (and most important--in my mind anyway) it reclines. Between my two kids I've literally spent hours upon hours nursing babies in that chair, and it has been great. It reclines almost to a full horizontal which was nice for those mid-night feedings.
Just a thought. Take it or leave it. But if I were you-- I'd buy the MOST comfortable rocking chair on the planet. Trust me, you will be glad you did.
